CPJE community: Reddit, Quora and outdated claims to watch

Community links first checked October 12, 2026 and rechecked October 19, 2026. Posts are personal experience, not official guidance. Current facts below are from the California State Board of Pharmacy and the PSI candidate bulletin.

California pharmacy candidates discuss the CPJE in r/pharmacy and in CPJE threads you can find by search, sharing study plans, which law courses they used and how exam day went. This CPJE community is useful for ideas, but the CPJE’s fees, pass rates and dates change, and some widely shared figures are simply wrong, so check them against the Board and PSI.

What these communities are good for

  • Study plans: how others split time between California law and clinical practice.
  • Course experiences with UWorld RxPrep, PassNaplexNow and others, as one person’s view.
  • Exam-day reports: what the no-going-back format felt like.

Using communities well

  • Check fees, dates and rules against the Board and PSI.
  • Treat pass-rate claims carefully; the Board publishes them every six months.
  • Never share or ask for real exam questions: California law makes subverting a licensing exam a misdemeanor, and PSI can invalidate results.

Common questions about CPJE communities

Which subreddit is best for the CPJE?

r/pharmacy is the main general community; searching Reddit for ‘CPJE’ finds exam-specific threads.

Can I trust Reddit advice on the CPJE?

Use it for study ideas, not for fees or rules; several commonly repeated figures are out of date or wrong.

Can I share CPJE questions after my exam?

No. California Business and Professions Code section 123 makes it a misdemeanor to subvert a licensing exam, including sharing its content.
