The MPJE, explained
The Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination tests pharmacy law for state licensure: 120 questions in 2.5 hours, reported pass or fail. Since April 2026, 12 jurisdictions use NABP’s new Uniform MPJE instead; NABP isn’t retiring the state version. About one in four candidates fails on the first try.
Last checked October 12, 2026. From NABP’s own pages and NABP pass-rate data; exam fees as reported.
