How MockTestPrep makes money

Right now, none of the links on this site are affiliate links. Every button goes straight to the provider’s or exam body’s own website, and we earn nothing from clicks or purchases.

The short version

As of October 2026 we have no affiliate arrangements in place. We may add some in future. If we do, we will mark those links clearly on the page, update this page, and say which kinds of pages carry them.

Commission would not decide rankings, ratings or which courses we cover. Our methodology page explains how ratings are made and what they are based on.

What we will not do

We will not rank a worse course above a better one because it pays more. We will not remove criticism at a provider’s request. We will not claim hands-on testing we have not done: where a review is based on a provider’s published details or third-party reviews rather than our own use of the course, the page says so.

Ownership

Course providers sometimes share an owner. UWorld owns Roger CPA Review and acquired Surgent on April 30, 2026. Surgent’s own CPA page now directs candidates to UWorld CPA Review, so Surgent CPA Review is no longer offered as a separate course. Ownership does not change a score or a ranking position.

Common questions

Does using your link cost me more?

No. Our links currently go to providers’ own sites, and an affiliate link, if we use one later, would not raise the price. Prices and discounts change often, so check the provider’s checkout for the price you will actually pay.

Do you earn more from higher-ranked courses?

We earn nothing from any course today, so no course earns us more than another. If that changes, commission rates will not be used to decide rankings.

Which pages contain affiliate links?

None at the moment. This page will say so if that changes.
