Official CPJE links: the Board, PSI and NABP in one place

Three organizations matter for the CPJE. The California State Board of Pharmacy decides eligibility, sets fees and publishes pass rates; PSI runs registration, scheduling and the exam itself; and NABP runs the NAPLEX, which California also requires. These official CPJE links cover the application, fees, the PSI candidate bulletin with test dates and sample questions, scoring and pass-rate reports.

How to use these official CPJE links
- Before applying: read the application packet; it lists the $260 fee, photo and fingerprint requirements.
- Before studying: download PSI’s bulletin for the content outline (23 / 27 / 25 scored questions) and the sample questions.
- Before booking: check the bulletin’s test dates; the CPJE runs only on Board-approved dates, with November 13 and December 3 left in 2026.
- After a failed attempt: use the retake application and wait at least 45 days.

Do I apply to the Board or to PSI?
Both, in order. You apply to the Board first; once it finds you eligible, it notifies PSI, and you register and schedule with PSI.

Are there official CPJE sample questions?
PSI’s bulletin includes 22 sample questions with an answer key.
Where are official CPJE pass rates?
The Board publishes CPJE statistics roughly every six months on pharmacy.ca.gov.
