What it does well
Gleim’s Premium page lists 12,000 or more multiple-choice questions and 1,200 or more task-based simulations, and describes video lectures led by professional educators, digital flashcards, a personal counselor and help from its accounting experts. Third-party roundups give simulation counts of 1,200 to 1,600 or more, and one says it has the largest CPA question bank.
Its Access Until You Pass guarantee covers updated study materials, and on Premium Pro Gleim adds a conditional refund. Gleim’s page says that as long as you are preparing for and taking the sections you bought on the Premium system, it will ensure you have access until you pass. On Premium Pro, if you follow Gleim’s suggested steps, do not pass and are not satisfied, Gleim says it will refund the price paid for the applicable sections, provided you ask within 18 months of purchase. That matters if your study window is long or a first attempt does not go well.
Where it falls short
Price is higher than the figures many roundups still quote. Gleim’s own pricing page lists the Traditional course at $2,499 with 18 months of access, Premium at $2,999 and Premium Pro at $3,499, which is as much as or more than Becker’s Advantage tier at list price. Third-party sites show promotions below list, such as 35% off Premium, so the price you pay may differ.
On Traditional and Premium the guarantee is about access, not money; only Premium Pro adds a conditional refund. Gleim’s Traditional course carries only 18 months of access, per a comparison table on its page. We have not tested the platform, so we make no claim about how it feels to use.
