Common questions
Do I apply to NASBA or to my state board?
It depends on your jurisdiction. Some boards take applications directly; many use NASBA’s CPA Examination Services. NASBA’s Candidate Guide lists which is which.
Who do I contact to reschedule my exam?
Prometric, online or on 800-580-9648. Moving an appointment is free 60 or more days out; after that Prometric charges a fee.
Where do official score release dates come from?
The AICPA publishes the target release dates. NASBA then forwards scores to state boards, some of which take an extra day.
What if something went wrong at the test center?
Contact NASBA Candidate Care at 866-MY-NASBA (866-696-2722) or candidatecare@nasba.org within five days of your exam.
