At $87 a month, NINJA only passes Becker Advantage’s price after about 29 months and Becker Pro’s sale price after about 31. For most candidates, NINJA stays the cheaper option. The real question is whether it gives you enough structure to finish.
What Becker includes
Becker says every CPA package includes digital textbooks, 900+ concept videos, 9,000+ multiple-choice questions, 900+ task-based simulations, simulated and mini exams, the Newt AI assistant and Adapt2U adaptive practice. Advantage covers the three Core sections plus one Discipline for 24 months. Pro ($2,692 on sale, list $3,845) adds unlimited access, all three Disciplines, LiveOnline classes, five coaching and five tutoring sessions, and the Pass Guarantee. Becker offers a 14-day free trial and 0% Flex Pay plans over 6 or 12 months, or 24 months on Advantage.
Where NINJA fits
NINJA is built around a pay-as-you-go subscription you can cancel at any time, so there is no large upfront cost. That suits candidates who already have a strong accounting base, retakers who need practice on one section, or anyone using it as a supplement to another course. It suits less well if you need live classes and personal coaching, or a guarantee: none is reported for NINJA.
Choose Becker if
- Your employer pays, or you want a complete course with long access and a refund guarantee.
- You want live classes, coaching and tutoring included.
- You expect a long study window: Becker’s unlimited tiers cost the same however long you take.
Choose NINJA if
- You’re paying yourself, plan to finish within about two years, and want live group help cheaply.
- You are retaking one section and want low-cost practice.
- You want to add extra questions alongside another course without paying for a second full package.
Mistakes to avoid
- Forgetting that a subscription keeps billing. Cancel NINJA when you pass, and keep it only while you are actively studying.
- Comparing NINJA’s monthly price with Becker’s list price instead of its sale price. Becker’s promotions change the gap.
- Buying Becker Advantage on a long plan. If you need more than 24 months, an unlimited tier works out cheaper than starting again.

Is NINJA cheaper than Becker?
For almost everyone, yes. At $87 a month NINJA only passes the price of Becker Advantage after about 29 months of study.
Do Becker and NINJA offer a pass guarantee?
Becker attaches a Pass Guarantee to Pro and Pro+ and a 100% money-back guarantee to Concierge, with conditions. No guarantee is reported for NINJA.
Can I pass with NINJA alone?
Some candidates use NINJA as their main course, others as a supplement. If you want a full course with live classes and coaching, Becker’s Pro tier and above include them.
