PrepCast vs PMI Study Hall and official prep compared a third-party bundle with a large simulator against PMI’s own course and practice tools. PM PrepCast was reported at about $230 to $350 with the simulator included; PMI’s course is reported near $400 to $500, with Study Hall as a separate add-on. PrepCast’s own site now says all access ends December 4, 2026, so PMI’s prep is the option that remains.

A cheaper alternative to both

At the reported prices, PrepCast gave you the hours and more practice for less, which made it the better value before the closure. With all access ending December 4, 2026, PMI’s own prep, which comes from the body that sets the exam, is the safer choice, or a budget course plus Study Hall if price matters.
