What to buy instead of PrepCast

  • For the hours and a simulator from one author: Andrew Ramdayal’s course (updated for July 2026, per its listing) plus his TIA simulator with 14 mock exams. See our Ramdayal review.
  • If you prefer Phillips for foundations: add a simulator, such as Ramdayal’s TIA simulator or PMI Study Hall.
  • For PMI’s own practice: see our PMI Study Hall review.

The bottom line

They did different jobs: Phillips is a cheap way to learn the material and get the hours, and PrepCast was a heavier purchase that included serious practice. With PrepCast closing, use a course like Phillips or Ramdayal and add a simulator; the total is still well below PrepCast’s old price.
