South Carolina PE license requirements
South Carolina’s Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors must approve you before you register for the PE with NCEES. There are two routes: an Early PE application (no fee, limited to three exam attempts), after which you still need four years of experience and an application for licensure by exam; or the standard PE by Exam application ($55), filed once you have four years of qualifying experience.
