Cheapest PE exam prep
The cheapest essential PE resource is free: NCEES’s reference handbook, which is the only reference allowed in the exam. For structured prep, PPI2Pass’s Learning Hub self-study is reported from about $149. For a full course, Engineering Pro Guides is the cheapest for Mechanical HVAC, Thermal and Fluids or Power ($595 to $950); for PE Civil, Civil Engineering Academy ($1,397 per exam), Testmasters ($1,499, covering all five Civil exams by its account) and School of PE OnDemand ($1,599) are the main options below PPI’s live classes.
