Ohio PE license requirements
Ohio doesn’t allow early PE taking: you apply to the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors for approval only after completing your experience (four years with an EAC/ABET engineering degree, eight with an engineering technology degree), gained under the full-time supervision of a PE. Kentucky’s board warns that Ohio may require you to retake a PE you passed before having the required experience.
