New Mexico PE license requirements
New Mexico has long allowed engineers to take the PE before completing their experience, per NSPE. Licensure by examination through the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors costs $275, but it’s free if you’re a New Mexico resident who graduated from a New Mexico university in the past five years. Licenses renew every two years for $220.
