New Jersey PE license requirements
New Jersey’s State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors no longer requires registration or approval before the FE or PE: you register online with NCEES, then apply for licensure online after passing. The board lists a $75 application fee for professional engineers. Reviews typically take 2-3 weeks for staff screening plus 6-8 weeks for board review; applicants with an NCEES Model Law Engineer record may be approved faster.
