Michigan PE license requirements
Since April 4, 2017, Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) no longer pre-approves PE candidates: you register directly with NCEES. You apply for your license only after completing the education, four years of experience after your degree, and both exams, with a $115 application fee. The five-reference requirement was dropped; you document your experience on the application instead.
