Kansas PE license requirements
Kansas lets you take the PE before meeting the experience requirement, but you need approval from the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions (KSBTP) first. You submit a PE exam application ($60, non-refundable) after passing the FE, and don’t register with NCEES until you receive the board’s approval letter. After passing, you file a separate PE by Examination application for licensure, with four years of experience under a licensed PE.
