Idaho PE license requirements
Idaho lets you take the PE early: once you’ve passed the FE, you register for the PE directly with NCEES, without board approval and before finishing your experience. You then apply for licensure to the Idaho Board of Licensure of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors (IPELS) after four years of experience following a bachelor’s degree, with a passing score on the board’s written ethics questionnaire.
