Hawaii PE license requirements
In Hawaii you apply to the Board of Professional Engineers, Architects, Surveyors and Landscape Architects (EASLA), which approves engineer-by-exam applicants at its meetings before you take the PE. The non-refundable application fee for exam applicants is $100. Your NCEES exam and your experience must be in the same discipline you’re licensing in; without an engineering degree, Hawaii requires 12 years of experience for the PE.
