Georgia PE license requirements
Since July 1, 2025, Georgia lets you take the PE before completing your experience: Senate Bill 125 removed the old rule that you needed four years of experience first. Licensure still requires an accredited engineering degree, the FE and PE exams, and about four years of qualifying experience. Licensing is handled by the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
