Arkansas PE license requirements
In Arkansas, every original PE license application is decided by the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors at its next board meeting. The board says there are allowances for when you take the PE relative to when you earn your experience, so ask it how that applies to you. You’ll need five references, three of them licensed PEs or surveyors.
Sources: Arkansas PELS board (qualifications page and application instructions), checked October 11, 2026. The board’s documents show both $75 (older instructions) and $200 (current form) application fees; confirm with the board.
