Alaska PE license requirements
In Alaska you apply to the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors (AELS), which reviews your experience at a board meeting before you register for the PE with NCEES. With an engineering degree you need four years of experience, including 24 months in responsible charge. Alaska also requires every engineer to complete a board-approved Arctic engineering course and pass the Alaska jurisprudence exam.
