Free LSAT resources
The best free LSAT material comes from LSAC itself: official practice tests in the real test interface on LawHub. Start there before you pay for anything.
Sources: LSAC LSAT FAQs and LSAC’s LSAT section, checked October 11, 2026. Prices for paid upgrades are as reported and may change.
Official and free
- LawHub: free Official LSAT Prep tests. Full-length official practice tests in the same interface as the real LSAT, including eliminating answers and highlighting. LSAC’s own first recommendation.
- LSAC: official LSAT practice tests. What is available and how to use it.
- LSAC: types of LSAT questions. Official explanations of Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension questions.
- LSAC: prep options. LSAC’s overview of free and paid preparation.
- LSAC: free resources for aspiring law students. Wider help beyond the LSAT itself.
Worth knowing about
- LawHub Advantage: LSAC’s paid upgrade with the full library of official PrepTests. 7Sage’s pricing page lists it at $124 a year, paid to LSAC (some sites still show $120), and it is reported to be free if you qualify for an LSAC fee waiver. Most paid prep courses require it. Confirm the price on LawHub.
- LSAC fee waivers can also cover the $253 registration fee. Check eligibility before you pay for anything.
How to use free material well
- Take one official test early to get a baseline, under timed conditions.
- Skip Logic Games sections in older PrepTests; the section has not been on the test since August 2024.
- Practice in the new LawHub interface used from August 2026, so test day holds no surprises.
- Review every question you got wrong or guessed before taking another full test.
