Helix bar review: nonprofit prep at cost
Helix Bar Review is run by AccessLex Institute, the largest nonprofit in legal education, which sells it at cost. It offers comprehensive courses for the UBE, California, Florida and the NextGen exam, a $279 Helix MBE supplement and a free MPRE course. Some law schools provide Helix free to their students, so ask yours. Helix offers a free repeat if you complete at least 75% of the course.
Courses, guarantee terms and MBE price from Helix and AccessLex; the comprehensive course price (about $1,200 at launch) as reported. Checked October 11, 2026. We have not tested it hands-on, so this review has no score.
