What the numbers mean
- They count completers: Texas’s report shows only about 60% of people who start a test series finish all four tests, so the pass rate describes people who stay the course.
- Prepared candidates do better: GED.com recommends GED Ready, the official practice test, which shows whether you’re likely to pass before you pay for the real thing.
- Pass one subject at a time: each subject is scored separately at 145, and passed subjects count while you retake others.
