NCLEX community: Reddit and Quora
Where nursing graduates talk about the NCLEX online. These communities are unofficial: good for study plans and support, but check fees, registration steps and rules against NCSBN and your board of nursing. Links checked October 11, 2026.
- r/NCLEX: a large community for preparing for and taking the NCLEX, with posted rules and a resource list. Common threads cover study plans, study partners and exam-day experiences.
- r/PassNclex: an active community of results posts and study advice. Its moderators have banned at least one prep company for using bot accounts to promote itself, which is a reminder to read recommendations carefully.
Quora
- NCLEX questions on Quora: longer answers, often from working nurses, about preparation and what the exam is like.
Using community advice well
- “I passed at 85 questions” stories are common. The exam’s length depends on how you answer, so the number of questions you get tells you little on its own.
- Check fees, registration steps and retake rules on the official NCLEX links page.
- Treat course recommendations with care: some posts are written by people who sell or are paid to promote a course.
