When do GRE scores come out?

Official GRE General Test scores appear in your ETS account 8 to 10 days after your test, and ETS emails you when they are ready. At the same time, ETS sends official score reports to the schools you chose on test day.

What you get

• Verbal and Quantitative scores from 130 to 170 and an Analytical Writing score from 0 to 6, each with a percentile rank.
• A test-taker score report in your ETS account, which you can print.
• ScoreSelect: schools see only the test dates you choose to send, and no sign of other attempts.

Planning around score timing

Test at least two weeks before your first application deadline so official scores arrive in time. Schools you add after test day need an additional score report at $40 each.
