ACP MKSAP review: the internal medicine standard
MKSAP, from the American College of Physicians, is now ACP MKSAP: an all-digital subscription aligned with the ABIM blueprint, continuously updated rather than sold in numbered editions. It includes a question bank, syllabus, Board Basics, Virtual Dx and flashcards. The non-member list price is reported at $825 for one year or $995 for three, with much lower prices for ACP resident and fellow members.
Features and format from ACP’s own MKSAP pages; list prices as published by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians from ACP’s launch pricing. Checked October 12, 2026. We have not tested it hands-on, so this review has no score.
What stands out
- Content and questions together: 12 syllabus sections with linked questions, from the specialty’s own college.
- Always current: the subscription is updated continuously, so there’s no outdated edition.
- Three-year option covers residency through the board exam for not much more than one year.
- Program discounts: residency programs can buy it in bulk at a discount, so ask your program first.
What to watch for
- No print version.
- Buy through ACP, not the Apple store, where ACP says you’ll pay more.
