Save on ABIM’s own fees
- Needs-based fee credit: 50% ($715) off the 2027 Internal Medicine exam for eligible first-time candidates; ABIM’s announcement says apply by October 16, 2026.
- Register on time (by April 15) to avoid the $400 late fee.
- Cancel early if you must: 70% back up to two days before, 55% after.
- MOC: ABIM waives the first year of MOC fees after you pass the certification exam.
