How to use these official securities exam links
- Before enrolling: check FINRA’s qualification exams table for the current fee: $100 for the SIE and $395 for the Series 7.
- Before studying: download the content outline for your exam and use it as a checklist.
- Before your state exam: read NASAA’s FAQ; the Series 65’s passing grade (92 of 130) isn’t a percentage.
- After a failed attempt: check Regulatory Notice 26-18 and NASAA’s announcement for the waiting periods that apply to you.
Why official pages matter
Securities exam fees and rules change: FINRA raised the SIE fee to $100 and the Series 7 to $395, and both FINRA and NASAA are shortening retake waits in January 2027.
