What else to know
- Eligibility lasts one year. If it expires before you test, NABP says you forfeit all fees and start again.
- Cancelling: the $100 application fee is never refunded; the exam fee can be refunded if you withdraw before eligibility expires, as reported.
- Score transfers: some schools suggest waiting for your result so you don’t pay for transfers you don’t need; transfer fees are nonrefundable once results are out.
- Board fees for background checks and license issuance vary by state.
Common questions
When can I schedule?
You can apply at any time, but you can’t schedule until your state board makes you eligible and NABP receives your official transcript.
