When do CIA exam results come out?

The IIA emails you when your official CIA score is available in CCMS. Candidates used to see an informal score at the test center straight after the exam; guides report that for traditional CIA exams taken from April 1, 2026, that immediate unofficial score is no longer given, so expect to wait for the official result.

Score process from The IIA’s brochure; the April 2026 change as reported. Confirm in The IIA’s candidate handbook. Checked October 11, 2026.
