CIA requirements: education, experience and ID
To join the CIA program you apply through The IIA’s CCMS with proof of education (typically a bachelor’s degree or equivalent), a character reference and ID. Required internal audit experience depends on your education, and you can sit the exams before you finish it. Once approved, you have three years to pass all three parts.
