SAT prep discounts and deals: what’s real right now

SAT prep discounts change often, so this page lists savings we could confirm and where providers post current codes, not codes that may already have expired. The biggest saving is the test fee waiver, if you qualify. After that, free official practice, UWorld’s 7-day free trial and Kaplan’s regular 15% to 20% codes go furthest.

Other ways to save
- Ask your school: some schools have partner discounts with prep providers.
- Taking both tests? Bundles such as UWorld’s SAT + ACT plans or Kaplan’s Unlimited Prep cost less than buying separately.
- Register on time: SAT late registration adds $38 and ACT’s adds $42.
- Skip optional ACT sections you don’t need: Science adds $5 and Writing $25.
Watch out for
- Coupon sites listing codes providers don’t show; we list only offers on providers’ own pages.
- Guarantees with conditions, such as minimum starting scores.
- Old materials: both tests changed recently, so make sure prep matches the digital SAT and enhanced ACT.
