Common questions
Is there a fee waiver?
Yes. Both College Board and ACT run fee waiver programs for eligible students. Ask your school counsellor.
Should I pay for ACT Science or Writing?
Only if your colleges or scholarships want them. ACT’s Composite score no longer includes Science, and Writing is reported separately.
