Gleim EA review: the practice-heavy option
Last checked October 22, 2026 · Sources: Gleim’s own EA courses page and Premium page (features, access, guarantee, CE); package prices as listed by Gleim and consistently reported; exam facts from the IRS EA FAQ. The rating is our editorial assessment from published details using the rubric on our how we rank page, not a hands-on test.
This Gleim EA review covers the course that has sold EA prep for decades. Its Premium package is built around a very large question bank, more than 30 hours of expert video and an Access Until You Pass guarantee, at $799 for all three parts. It’s the longest-runway option of the four we review, and the highest rated.

Buy now on GleimWhat stands out
Gleim claims the largest test bank of exam-quality questions, and its practice is organized around SmartAdapt, which plans your study and adapts as you answer. The higher tiers add personal counselors and exam rehearsal with a final review mode.
On Premium you also get more than 30 hours of video lectures from an enrolled agent instructor, two full-length mock exams per part, flashcards, and 72 hours of continuing education, which you will need once you are enrolled.
The guarantee, and its limits
Premium gives Access Until You Pass for the parts you bought. If you follow Gleim’s suggested steps, do not pass, and are not satisfied, Gleim says it will refund the price paid for those parts. The policy applies only to purchases made directly from Gleim, and it has conditions, so read it before you buy.
What to watch for
The Traditional package lists 12 months of access rather than until you pass, and only audio lectures. Candidates who learn from video need Premium, which is $100 more. Since 2026 the SEE is scored 200 to 800 with 500 to pass, so check that any readiness score you see reflects the new scale.
Gleim EA packages
| Package | Price | What it includes | Our take |
|---|---|---|---|
| Test Bank | $499 | The question bank alone, 12 months | A supplement, not a course |
| Traditional | $699 | Guided review, audio lectures, personal counselors, 12 months of access | Enough if you learn from text |
| Premium | $799 | Adds video lectures, six mocks, Access Until You Pass, 72 hours of CE | The tier to price up first |
