Dates, fees and registration

CFA Institute: exam dates and fees. The official tool for exam windows and Early or Standard registration fees by level. CFA Institute says exams usually run in February, May, August and November.
Registration: you register and pay on CFA Institute’s site, then get instructions to book your appointment with Prometric.

Schedule and sit the exam

Prometric: CFA Program. Schedule or reschedule your appointment and try the exam software tutorial. Prometric lists 800-310-6402 as its US toll-free line.
Rescheduling fee: both CFA Institute and Prometric list a USD 250 fee to move an appointment within your exam window.
Testing accommodations and policies: Prometric’s CFA page links to CFA Institute’s accommodations and testing policy pages. Read the policies before exam day.
