Best TOEFL prep for the 2026 test
Since the TOEFL changed in January 2026, the priority is prep built for the new format. Start with ETS’s free full-length practice test. For a full course, Magoosh is updated for 2026, uses ETS-licensed questions and costs $129 for six months, including a $40 US registration voucher. Kaplan’s $29.99 book is a cheap strategy guide, but its print edition predates the redesign.
