How to register for the TOEFL iBT

You register through an ETS account at ets.org/toefl. Choose a test center or the at-home Home Edition with a live online proctor, pick a date (tests run frequently), and pay the fee for your country, $270 in the US. Scores arrive in your ETS account within about 72 hours, and you choose which institutions receive them.

From ETS’s TOEFL pages and guides summarizing them; fee as listed by ETS in September 2026, per a guide. Checked October 12, 2026.
