MCAT test dates and registration for 2027
The AAMC offers 35 US MCAT test dates in 2027, from January 15 to September 11, with none from October to December. Registration for the whole year opens October 20, 21 or 22, 2026 at noon Eastern, depending on the region of the test center you want. The 2027 fee is $360.

Scheduling deadlines
Every test date has 60-day, 30-day and 10-day deadlines that set your rescheduling fee and cancellation refund. The 10-day deadline is the last day to schedule, reschedule or cancel. All deadlines are 11:59 p.m. local test-center time. See rescheduling fees.

Common questions
When should I take the MCAT?
Choose a date whose score release comes before your medical school application deadlines, with time for a retake if you might need one. Earlier dates leave more room for a second attempt in the same year.
Can I test in the autumn?
No. The AAMC does not offer the MCAT from October to December 2027.
