COMLEX community: Reddit, Quora and outdated claims to watch
Community links first checked October 12, 2026 and rechecked October 21, 2026. Posts are personal experience, not official guidance. Current facts below are from the NBOME.
The COMLEX community on Reddit, mainly r/medicalschool and COMLEX-specific threads you can find by search, is where osteopathic students compare study resources, practice scores and score reports. Use it for ideas, but COMLEX changed in 2026, with shorter Level 1 and Level 2-CE exams and a one-day Level 3 coming in January 2027, so many older posts describe formats that no longer exist. Check fees, dates and rules with the NBOME.

What these communities are good for
- Resource choices: how others combined COMBANK, UWorld, AMBOSS and NBOME’s COMSAE.
- Study schedules for dedicated periods.
- Score-release experiences: when people saw results, as individual reports.
Using communities well
- Check exam details against the NBOME; Level 1 is pass/fail and formats change.
- Treat score stories as one person’s result.
- Never share or ask for real exam questions; NBOME rules forbid it.
