Best CISA prep in 2026

Most CISA candidates build their prep around ISACA’s own materials: the Review Manual and the 1,070-question QAE database. For a complete course with a guarantee, Surgent (from $349) is the main option, and Allen Keele’s SuperReview adds direct support from its author. Hemang Doshi’s Udemy course is the low-cost video choice, Pocket Prep the cheapest extra practice, and Infosec’s $3,799 boot camp the fastest route if your employer pays.

Surgent, Allen Keele, Pocket Prep and Infosec from their own pages; ISACA products as described by an ISACA training partner with prices as reported; Hemang Doshi from Udemy. Checked October 11-12, 2026. We have not run hands-on tests, so we rank by fit and value rather than scores. See how we rank.

A common study plan

  • Learn each domain from a course (Surgent, Allen Keele or Hemang Doshi), a boot camp, or the Review Manual.
  • Work through ISACA’s QAE repeatedly until you’re scoring consistently well; add Pocket Prep for extra practice on your phone.
  • Focus extra time on Domains 4 and 5, about half the exam.

Common questions

Why isn't Gleim on the list?

Some comparison sites list a Gleim CISA course, but Gleim’s own pages currently list only CPA, CIA, CMA and EA courses, so we couldn’t confirm one exists. UWorld’s CISA prep is now Surgent’s course after their April 2026 merger.

Are these paid placements?

No. We currently earn no commission from any CISA provider, and no one paid for a placement.
