Links first checked October 12, 2026 and rechecked October 20, 2026. We are not affiliated with JD-Next, Aspen Publishing or the ABA. JD-Next is run by Aspen Publishing, a UWorld company.

JD-Next is run by Aspen Publishing, and law schools need an ABA variance to admit applicants on JD-Next alone. These official JD-Next links cover everything you’ll need: course dates and pricing for every 2026-27 session, registration on Aspen’s store, the test format and score report, the variance school list, the ABA’s own variance decisions, and fee help through the LexisNexis waiver.

How to use these official JD-Next links

  • Before you register: check the variance school list and each school’s own admissions page; the ABA’s notices show variances granted since the list was last updated.
  • Before you pay: check the session dates; the next course starts December 7, 2026, and early registration ends November 6 or 7 (sources differ), so register by November 6 to be safe.
  • If cost is a barrier: apply for the LexisNexis fee waiver before you register.
  • After the exam: read the score report page so you know what schools will see.
